Volunteering with the volunteer fire department

Anyone interested in volunteering with the volunteer fire department can first take part in training evenings, which are offered by every fire department.

A certain amount of technical knowledge is helpful for this voluntary position. Otherwise, this can be picked up during basic training.
People between the ages of 18 and 67 are eligible for active service in the fire department. Girls and boys between the ages of 10 and 18 (varies depending on the federal state) can join the youth fire department.

Nils Selmer

Nils Selmer, born in Euskirchen in 2003, is an absolute technology freak. Even as a child, he was passionate about making Lego robots and reached the German final of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) with his friends three years in a row.
