How do you become a two-wheel mechanic?
The official job title is now “bicycle mechatronics technician“. The reason for this is the increasing importance of bicycles with electric motors. The apprenticeship lasts three and a half years and is offered in two specializations: one in bicycle technology and another in motorcycle technology.
According to a study by the career portal Stepstone, two-wheel mechanics earn an average of 32,000 euros per year. The salary range extends from 27,100 euros to 37,300 euros.
